Central Mallee Runners, based in Swan Hill, has been created to encourage and empower the community to have fun running, get fit and smash their PBs while getting out and moving a little bit more. CMR is a running club catering to all abilities whether you’re new to running or training for a specific event. By sharing our coach’s passion for running and living a healthier life, we aim to inspire and encourage all of our members

Running can be beneficial for both physical and mental health. Some of the potential benefits of running include:

  2. Stronger bones: Running can help strengthen your bones, especially if you run on uneven surfaces.

Our Runs are mainly Swan hill based with one-off runs that may require some travel (such as lake Boga for example). Our sessions provide runners of all abilities the chance to get the heart and lungs pumping.


  • Wednesday Morning Run 6.45 am meet at Central Mallee Health for a 7 am start
  • Saturday ParkRun Lake Boga (Separate from CMR but is a good platform to test how you are improving)



As the running group operates out of Central Mallee Health there are many services that are on offer outside of the running group as many of you may already know. For those who pull up a bit sore from the running or for those looking for further running specific training we have services such as
